阅读别人的goodbye letter,　是我喜欢的一件事情。这样的信，往往都是写在离开公司的最后一天，有的人洋洋洒洒，有的人言简意赅，但无论篇幅形式，却都少不了对过去工作的点滴回忆，对周围同事的真诚感谢，和对未来日子的衷心祝福。试想在即将离开公司的那个下午，办公桌上已经干净的只剩下一个电脑，周围人的忙忙碌碌已经不再与已有关，这个时候，静下心去，埋下头来，回想曾经在这个地方度过的或长或短的日子，那些开心或不愉快的事情，那些闪光或者暗淡的时刻，那些被自己视为朋友或敌人的人....一切都会在明天成为过去，于是外表平静，内心澎湃的写下这样的一份信，即便可能包含很多客套和寒暄的言语，但背地里更多的无疑应该是感慨和感叹！再不善言辞的人，在这个时刻都会成为一个优秀的写手。阅读这样的信，会把人不由自主的带回到过去的生活里，因为你或许就是他信中回忆的一部分，或许就是他要感谢的那些人的其中一个。即便这份信里压根没有提到你一个字，但是却丝毫不妨碍你对过去生活的回忆。

星期五的时候, 收到了Chandra的goodbye letter, 这个在Philips工作了整整10年的印度人，在来新加坡的第三个年头，选择了辞职，带着妻女举家返回印度，去照顾他年迈的父母。他在farewell午餐上几句哽咽的话让我印象深刻:" I'm the only son of my parent, if I can not stay together with my parent during their last minutes, everything else means nothing to me." 话音落地，却看见泪光爬上了这个身高１米80几的印度大汉的眼眶。其实我一直对他的印度口音不太感冒，但不知道为什么唯独他的这句话我听的分外清晰，不曾忘记。

虽然和这个印度哥们共事的时间只有短短一年，但是，我仍然努力在他goodbye letter的字里行间去寻找自己的影子，寻找我们整个team的影子。我很高兴，我是这个team11个人中的一员。

我们这11 个人，来自世界上７个不同的地区：新加坡，马来西亚，中国大陆，印度尼西亚，中国台湾，印度，缅甸。。。

我们这11 个人，信仰着世界上不同的宗教：佛教，回教，天主教，另外包括我这个共产党员，无神论者。。。

我们11个人聚餐，从来都是素食，即便是年夜饭也是特立独行的吃斋，因为我们中有人是素食者，也有人是回教徒。。。

我们这11个人，年龄从50多岁的老者，到我这样不到30的毕业生，从high level的senior manager, 到普通的system engineer, 背景覆盖了software, hardware, mechanical, DTV, Quality... 各自扮演着自己的角色，尽着自己的责任。对内我们也许曾有过这样或者那样的矛盾或分歧，但是，当我们这11个人站在一起，面对commercial, 面对purchasing, 面对supplier的时候，我们就是铁板一块的TV ODM Team. 我们用我们的努力，保证每一款产品顺利的release。我们的产品，从19寸到47寸，覆盖了50多个model, 行销欧洲，南美洲和亚洲的几十个国家!

...

当然，现在，我们中的三个，因为这样或那样的原因，离开了team。Timothy离开了，Poh Geok离开了，现在Chandra也选择了离开。11个人的team，还剩下８个，谁会是下一个呢？也许可能是我...但是说实话，我很怀念我们11个人在一起工作的日子，所以我很想在这里也写上其余８个人的名字：Zeith, Mak, Leonard, Shamsuri, Tun myint, Jane, Wang 和Eric（我）！

很想放一张我们team的合影，可是电脑里面却没有，这只能说我没有习惯去收藏记忆。没关系，就以Chandra的goodbye letter做个结尾，我知道他不会介意的:)

 

Dear All

My sincere thanks to all of you for the Support given to me who are directly / indirectly involved in Projects with me during my Stay in Singapore .Today is my last day in Philips (TV ODM) . I worked with Philips for 10 years in India and Singapore. My stay in Philips has been a meaningful and fruitful. I appreciate your assistance in providing me guidance, company support, mentoring , coaching , training  and advice.

Thanks to Philips for giving free hand responsibility to manage ODM CRT projects and transits me in LCD Projects. It was a good challenge to communicate with ODM Suppliers (from China and Taiwan) who’s technical team seldom use English during communication. ODM Project sounds simple but was much more complex due to Multiple Party involvement / co-development. This project helps me in improving my skills in making Effective communication , decision , leadership and Presentation. Thanks to the entire Project team for their fantastic support to me. Good exposure in managing ODM CRT Projects. Thanks to the CRT Project team for their friendly support to me. Thanks to TV and AVM ODM team for making memorable Team Building activities and contribution to my Projects.

I know message is too long but wants to share the Golden Moments , Unforgettable Experience and Good Learning’s in past 10 years. Me and my family spend a great time in Singapore. I've enjoyed working in Philips. My Wife and I take this opportunity to thanks each one of you for your guidance and support and wish you all the very best in your professional and personal life
